Pastor Kenneth Swick, BA, MEd, MDiv
"Pastor Ken", as he is known by all at Mt. Zion, was born in Somerville, New Jersey. After
serving with the Special Operations in Thailand and Laos, as an Aircraft Mechanic and Crew Chief, he went on to receive degrees from
Oklahoma Baptist University (BA), Memphis State University (MEd), and the Gettysburg Lutheran Theological Seminary (MDiv).
He has been active for many years, serving as counselor for emotionally disturbed adolescents, and has been active in the Family Reunification in Lao Refugee Camps. From 1980, until the present, he has served in the PA Air National Guard
In 1983, he became the
pastor of the joint Upper Bermudian Lutheran Parish, serving both the Ground Oak and Mt. Zion Lutheran Churches.
